Program collateral to promote Earth Day to new moms who have given birth on Earth Day–bringing awareness to the ease of using cloth diapers and information on the damage done by disposable diapers. *every year 18 billion disposable diapers end up in the ocean. If that information alone isn’t enough to make people switch, maybe these cute ocean babies will do the trick.
This summer I will be working on the illustration style I’ve chosen to pursue. I’ve put out a call for dog bios and their accompanying photos. From those I will choose one dog randomly each week and complete a piece for the series.
This week features Banana, a super sweet Pibble owned by Priya Priani in Atlanta, GA.
As usual final piece follows process. Enjoy 🙂

Recently I went to visit my mom in New Hampshire. While there, I showed her some of the illustration techniques I’d been working on. This piece is a commissioned “portrait,” for a couple in Texas, of their dog JR. After getting a profile of JR’s personality, it was clear he liked to run. The images work you through the process to the final piece.
